Isolated single-family housing project located in Benalmádena (Málaga), in the Santangelo Norte urbanization. The plot where the house is located is characterized by a steep upward slope from east to west, which determines the starting point of the construction situation within it.
In this case, it is decided to design a compact house in the closest possible position to the main façade, so as to obtain the best views and sunlight, placing the main spaces to the south (light) and east (views) and relegating the service spaces to the north and west.
It is a house characterized by its staircase, which runs through it on all floors as a vertical axis of communication and lighting, which distributes the flows through all the rooms and contributes to achieving well-lit spaces.
The floor closest to the entrance is the basement, which serves as a leisure space, with a gym and a games room, a car park, with up to a total of two spaces inside, and the base for the rest of the housing, since a large walkable roof extends over part of it.
On the ground floor, the living room, dining room and kitchen, a guest bedroom, a bathroom and a laundry room are arranged in an L shape. On the first floor, there is a bedroom, a bathroom and a suite with an integrated bathroom and dressing room and a private terrace.
Above the house, on the terrace, as the point of best sunlight, is the pool, which is complemented by a barbecue area with pergola.
